Farewell London

It’ s been nearly 6 months since I accepted the job offer in Redmond and we are now finally just seven days away from getting on a plane. It’ s been a long and painful process, but it’ s nearly over now. We’ ve been clearing out our apartment for sometime now and bit by bit it’ s been getting emptier and emptier. It reminds me of when we first moved in here just over 4 years ago. We had no furniture – just a couple of cushions, an old portable television that we borrowed from my parents and a cardboard box (from our microwave oven) which we used as a TV stand. And now we’ re going back to how we started, but at the same time we’ re moving forward and starting a new life.
